Gluckstein sets new difficulty record at Kalon Ludvigson Invitational
The fourth-annual Kalon Ludvigson Invitational was held this weekend in Salt Lake City with more than 1,000 competitors taking part. 2012 Olympian Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highland, N.J./ETA, won the men's trampoline title and set an American difficulty record of 17.3 in the process. Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite, previously held the record.

FIG Athletes’ Commission members appointed Youth Olympic Games Athlete Role Models
Jani Tanskanen (FIN), President of the FIG Athletes’ Commission, and fellow commission members Beth Tweddle (GBR), Liubou Charkashyna (BLR) and Nuno Merino (POR), who represent the Olympic Gymnastics disciplines, were appointed Athlete Role Models (ARM) for the 2nd edition of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

Rosie MacLennan, Jason Burnett tops at Elite Canada
In her first competition in over four months, Olympic champion Rosie MacLennan of Toronto had no trouble shaking off the rust from the long layoff, easily topping the field on Saturday in the women’s trampoline prelims at Elite Canada. MacLennan, who won gold in her last outing at the 2013 world championships in November, led all qualifiers with a total score of 102.725 points.
Samantha Sendel of Toronto placed second with 98.115 points and Samantha Smith, also of Toronto, was third at 95.730.

Kalon Ludvigison Invitational is this weekend
The fourth-annual Kalon Ludvigson Invitational will be held today and tomorrow in Salt Lake City. The competition will include a special celebration of Ludvigson, the eight-time U.S. tumbling champion, who was injured in a training accident last fall.
Many of the United States' great gymnastics champions, including Olympic gold medalists Nastia Liukin and Dominique Moceanu, along with Chellsie Memmel, Courtney Kupets, Elise Ray and Melissa Marlowe, will be at the event to support Ludvigson and his coach and partner Justen Millerbernd.

GBR gymnasts selected for European Championships
Great Britain's team for the 2014 trampoline, tumbling and double-mini trampoline European Championships has been selected with a mix of experienced world renowned stars and exciting rising talent aiming for success in Portugal in April.
The senior women’s trampoline team - who are reigning European and World Champion’s - sees British Champion Bryony Page, 2012 Olympian Kat Driscoll and 2012 European bronze medallist Laura Gallagher joined by first year senior Pamela Clark, while Luke Strong is the sole senior British male competitor fresh from hugely impressive performances in recent trials.

Nominierungen für Trampolin-EM
In Folge der zweiten EM-Qualifikation am 08. März sind stehen seit Dienstag (11. März) die Trampolinturner des DTB-Teams fest, die für die kommenden kontinentalen Titelkämpfe nominiert worden sind.
Für die Europameisterschaften vom 07. bis 13. April in Guimaraes (POR) hat der DTB-Lenkungsstab Jessica Simon (MTV Bad Kreuznach) und Leonie Adam (MTV Stuttgart) nominiert, sowie bei den Männern Daniel Schmidt (Bramfelder SV-HH), Christopher Schüpferling (Frankfurt Flyers), Martin Gromowski (MTV Bad Kreuznach) und Immanuel Kober (MTV Stuttgart).

Trampoline turns 50
On 4 March 1964, the International Trampoline Federation (FIT) was born, in Frankfurt on Main (GER). The delegates present elected its President, the Swiss René Schaerer and laid the foundations for the first Trampoline World championships, which would take place on 21 March of the same year at the Royal Albert Hall in London (GBR).

Spokane, Wash., is selected to host T&T's Elite Challenge
The 2014 Elite Challenge and Levels 5-7 National Championships for trampoline and tumbling will be held at the Spokane (Wash.) Convention Center June 12-15. More than 1,100 athletes are expected to compete in men’s and women’s trampoline, tumbling, synchronized trampoline and double mini-trampoline at the four-day event.

2014 Trampoline Gymnastics African Championships relocated to Namibia
The African Gymnastics Union (UAG) informed on Monday that the 2014 African Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling, Double Mini-trampoline and Aerobic Gymnastics will be relocated to Namibia. Originally scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt from April 19 – 25, the championships have been postponed to April 22 - 27. The host city of the championships in Namibia has not been confirmed yet.

Brindisi - I salti nel Sole del Trampolino Azzurro
Un sole primaverile e l'impeccabile organizzazione della Società Ginnastica Brindisi accolgono gli atleti delle squadre partecipanti alla prima prova del Campionato Nazionale per Società di Trampolino Elastico. La classifica, ancora in attesa di omologazione, vede al comando la Squadra A della Milano 2000 con il totale di 249.885, seguita dalla squadra B meneghina con 229.225 e dai padroni di casa della Ginnastica Brindisi con 228.190.

Eager selected as Double Mini Trampoline National Coach
British Gymnastics announce the appointment of Toby Eager as Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) National Coach. Toby is a member of the trampoline, tumbling and double mini trampoline Technical Committee and has an experienced background as gymnast and coach in both trampoline and DMT. He has coached at an elite level for several years and shadowed former National Coach, Nick Earle at the 2013 World Championships in Bulgaria where the British team won two medals and qualified for three finals.

Jugendländerkampf im Trampolinturnen
Der deutsche Trampolinnachwuchs ist mit einem zweiten Gesamtrang beim Jugendländerkampf am 15. Februar in Aigle (Schweiz) in das Wettkampfjahr 2014 gestartet.
Nach durchwachsenen Leistungen und zahlreichen neuen Übungsinhalten, denen es vor allem an Stabilität mangelte, mussten sich die verletzungsgeschwächten DTB- Talente mit insgesamt 971,040 Punkten den Gastgebern (994,835P.) geschlagen geben. Dritter wurde deutlich abgeschlagen Frankreich mit 892,345 Punkten.

A special show in Katara for gymnastics
A special demonstration and nice show was performed in Katara in the Sport national Day from Our national teams and the kids who participated in the gymnastics show which was planned by Qatar Gymnastics Federation.
A large number of audience watching the show and had a great emotion and responding for the show, The audience asked to see again the show , and the teams repeated the show as a reply for the applause from the audience.

Morris bounces into retirement
Following thirteen years of training and competing at the highest level, Trampoline Gymnastics star Will Morris has formally announced his retirement from the sport. Morris has much to be proud of in his sporting career, walking away from Trampoline Gymnastics with his head held high, he is set to pursue new challenges outside of Gymnastics. Having represented Australia at two World Championships, Morris was also a member of the London 2012 Olympic Games Shadow Squad and competed at numerous World Cup events.

Corissa Boychuk closes the book on spectacular career
Double mini trampoline star Corissa Boychuk is bouncing off into the sunset.After leading the Canadian women's team to the silver medal and placing fifth in the individual double mini event at the 2013 world championships in November, Boychuk made the decision to step out of the spotlight. “Going into it knowing that this was possibly going to be my last event … as soon as I landed that last pass I knew I was ready to finish,” said Boychuk, one of Airdrie, Alberta's best known athletes.

2014 JumpStart National Team named
Following national JumpStart testing last week, Jan 10-12, at the USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center at the Karolyi Ranch, an official U.S. Olympic training site, USA Gymnastics has named the 2014 JumpStart National Team. JumpStart represents trampoline and tumbling's talent identification program for athletes ages 8-10.
"We were very excited to have eight new clubs join the veteran teams that prepare these young, talented athletes in the first step toward the Elite Program," said Trampoline and Tumbling Program Director Susan Jacobson.
