In her first competition in over four months, Olympic champion Rosie MacLennan of Toronto had no trouble shaking off the rust from the long layoff, easily topping the field on Saturday in the women’s trampoline prelims at Elite Canada.
MacLennan, who won gold in her last outing at the 2013 world championships in November, led all qualifiers with a total score of 102.725 points.
Samantha Sendel of Toronto placed second with 98.115 points and Samantha Smith, also of Toronto, was third at 95.730.
