The Vietnam Committee for Sports and Physical Culture recently decided to launch trampoline in the country. The Committee is building a plan to introduce the sport of trampoline in 2007, according to sports officials.
With the introduction and development of trampoline, Vietnam will become the third Southeast Asian country to train athletes in trampoline. Thailand and Malaysia have also launched trampoline programs in recent years.

Among the Asian countries practicing trampoline, Japan, China, and Uzbekistan count among the top countries in the world. Israel, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Hong Kong have also competed at various international competitions, sometimes exhibiting competitive or promising performances.
