FIG Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup AWuxi City (CHN), July 2 – 3, 2011
All continents will be represented at the third FIG Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup of the year when gymnasts of thirteen nations compete in Wuxi City (CHN), from July 2 – 3, 2011.
The host country boasts a strong line-up, including Men’s and Women’s 2008 Olympic Champions in Individual Trampoline Lu Chunlong and He Wenna, reigning World Champions Dong Dong and Li Dan, as well as runners-up Ye Shuai and Huang Shanshan, who prevailed at the previous World Cup competition in St Petersburg (RUS) in March. Tough to beat!2010 World Championship title holders Dong Dong and Tu Xiao are expected to dominate the Men’s Synchronised Trampoline event, but not without facing strong competition from Silver medallists Sebastien Martiny and Gregoire Pennes of France, Portugal’s Diogo Ganchinho and Nuno Merino, who secured World Cup Gold in St Petersburg, and the two Japanese pairs Ueyama / Sakamoto and Ito / Tasaki.
