Strong participation is expected at the 12th Junior Artistic and Trampoline
Gymnastics Asian Championships in Thailand’s Suphanburi Province, March 11-15,
2012.
Eighteen countries have confirmed their
participation in the event, yielding an unexpected total of 348 participants and
forcing organisers at the Thailand Gymnastic Association to change the location
of both the competition hall and the hotel. Suphanburi Sports School and
Songphanburi Hotel have been chosen to host the delegations.
Such a large number of participants is proof of
a growing Asian interest in promoting Gymnastics and of a confidence in the
Asian Gymnastics Union, which defied all odds and continues to raise the level
of Gymnastics across Asia.
