The fourth FIG Academy for 2012 was a Level 1 Trampoline Academy in Marrakech,
Morocco. It began towards the end of the Level 3 Academy held in Venezuela and
finished on February 12.
This Academy was held for the five FIG member federations of Zone 1 of Africa (North Africa). Participation was partially funded by the FIG through the Development Fund for that zone. As always, the content included theory lectures on biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, psychology and planning and technical lectures on Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-trampoline.
The Academy was attended by 20 coaches from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. Libya attended an Academy for the first time and now becomes the 108th FIG member federation to participate in the Academy programme.
