The University of Ljubljana (SLO) has just released the June issue of Science of Gymnastics Magazine. According to its editor–in-chief, Mr Ivan Cuk, seven articles will draw the attention of readers. “With our Journal we wish to transmit our researchers’ knowledge so that it can be put into practice,” Cuk said. Researchers Roman Farana, Daniel Jandacka and Irwin Gareth pooled their expertise to explore impact forces on elbows during round off. The round off can be used on floor, vault and beam; it is used by men and women and their paper provides practical advice on hand positioning.
Oya Erkut Atilgan from Turkey submitted the first article in the Journal on trampolining. The author hopes it will encourage other trampolinists to participate with their research papers.
